UTV Motion Pictures today announced the release date of ROWDY RATHORE as June 1, 2012.
Directed by Prabhudeva, ROWDY RATHORE stars Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles. Produced by UTV Motion Pictures and Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the film is a remake of the super-hit Telugu film VIKRAMARKUDU, which was also remade in Tamil as SIRUTHAI. Music director duo Sajid-Wajid composed the music for the film.
The film will see Akshay Kumar back in his original action avatar.
