Anil Kapoor: Expect Denzel-John kind of 'face off' in TEZZ

The promos of TEZZ are on and other than all the action, fireworks and thrills on screen, there is a strong emotional connect being established as well, what with the film being rightly pitched as an Ajay Devgn v/s Anil Kapoor battle. As an audience, can one expect a John Travolta v/s Nicolas Cage kind of clash here a la FACE/OFF?
Says Kapoor, "Well, it is more like a Denzel Washington and John Travolta kind of face/off here. Having said that it is not like one of those many train films that are churned out of Hollywood on regular intervals. This one has a very Indian story to it. It has those looks and feel like a product that has aesthetics of a Hollywood action thriller."
To ensure these aesthetics, it was nothing short of a challenge though for the production team to make it possible though, given the limited resources and time when compared to Hollywood.
"See, they make such thrillers in the budget of 75-100 million dollars whereas we have made TEZZ possible and quite competitive in one tenth of this budget," says Kapoor, "To make such a huge film belonging to this genre and that too with minimum money is a testimony of how Priyan utilizes his resources so well. He along with his sound designer, DOP, action director, set designer etc. have done a fantastic job. Together they have made TEZZ stand up against the best in Hollywood."
Well, we do hope that does turn out to be case. Also starring Mohanlal, Kangana Ranaut and Zayed Khan in principle roles, Ratan Jain produced TEZZ with music by Sajid-Wajid releases all over on 27th April.
