Shahid Kapoor’s character as Javed in Kunal Kohli’s TERI MERI KAHAANI is a shayar. The brief Kunal had given to him was to say shayaris at the drop of a hat.
Shahid was apprehensive in the beginning when Kunal briefed him. “When Kunal told me the first time that we will have lot of shayaris in the film, I recalled that Kunal had a lot of that in FANAA as well. And Aamir had done the role brilliantly. I told him I don’t want to make a fool of myself as he is one of the finest actors of the country. I don’t want to mess it up because it was done so well” says Shahid.
