TEZZ to be second time lucky for Ajay & Sameera?

In Priyadarshan's action thriller TEZZ, Sameera Reddy plays an important part opposite Ajay Devgn who is enacting the part of a central protagonist. For the leading lady it was sheer nostalgia to be sharing screen space all over again with the actor since their early association together had turned out to be an aborted attempt. Reason? They had shot for BENAAM around half a decade back which never saw the light of the day.
"Yes, we had done that film together and it was an enjoyable experience since it too was a thriller. It is unfortunate that it hasn't released so far. I believe there was some very good work that Ajay as well as I had put together in the film. Also, this was yet another film that Ajay was doing with Anees Bazmee. Their outing before this, DEEWANGEE, was a very good success and during the shooting of BENAAM all of us felt that it was another hit in the making," says Sameera.
This is the reason why when Priyadarshan decided to make TEZZ with Ajay Devgn and summoned Sameera to be a part of the film, she was more than happy to renew the association.
"Of course when it comes to Ajay, who would think twice," smiles Sameera who had also danced to an item number in Priyan-Ajay combo AAKROSH over a year and a half back, "He is just fabulous in whatever role that he picks up, be it action, dramatic or comedy. As for his physique then well, no one can boast of a better body than him. He is just great. Moreover since this is an action film, I took a lot of tips from him. As always, he was quite helpful too."
With a mammoth cast comprising of Anil Kapoor, Ajay Devgn, Kangana Ranaut, Boman Irani, Zayed Khan, Mohanlal, Sameera Reddy and Mallika Sherawat (in an item number), TEZZ is a Ratan Jain production and releases all over on 27th April.
